Day 1 – Ho Chi Minh city – Mekong delta – Ho Chi Minh city (Lunch, Dinner)
Based on your docking time, we will design an itinerary fit the cruise schedule very well.
Our guide and driver will pick up you right after your check out cruise ship for the trip, then let’s explore Vietnam in your own way. It takes 3 hours from the port to Cai Be floating market.
Arrive Cai Be, deep in the Mekong Delta. The tour begins with a visit of the small but quaint Cai Be floating market, followed by a visit to some home factories that produce rice paste, rice popcorn and coconut candy.
Proceed to evergreen islands among the Mekong River through a large network of meandering tributaries, crisscrossed with countless arroyos. Following take a 10-minute walk through a local village and fruit gardens before coming to a preserved ‘Mandarin’ house. Built centuries ago, at least four generations of the same family have lived here. Mrs. Kiet, the owner of the house will serve you an appetizing Vietnamese lunch.
Take a stroll through the family’s fruit orchard before continuing to Tan Phong Island where you will take a local rowing boat through the canals before returning to Cai Be where the vehicle waiting to take you back to Ho Chi Minh city for overnight.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city – Cuchi tunnel – Phu My Port Breakfast, Lunch)
07h00 Pick up by driver & tour guide & depart for Cu chi tunnels - famous war tactic of both the French and American wars.
This underground city consists of more than 200 km of narrow tunnels that create a compete village with hideouts, shelters, fighting bunkers, hospital, school, living rooms and so on with air filters, sewage systems, and protective boobie-traps with false tunnels and dead ends.
This system was dug and used as a stronghold of Viet Minh and Viet Cong during the anti-French and American War from 1948 to 1975.
It is the chance for you to experience how the Vietcong lived and fought during that time and learn more about Vietnam War.
After the tour, transfer back to HCM City. If the time is permitted, we will visit the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, the historic Central Post Office, and City Hall.
Transfer back to the port 1.5 hrs before cruise departure time. Happy sailing then!
