Welcome up by our local guide and driver at the port who will be your partner in this whole shore excursion. It takes 1.5 driving hours get Hue from Chan May port and 2.5 driving hours from Tien Sa port.
Stop at Thanh Toan Village first to visit Thanh Toan Tile Bridge. You will be cycling through vast green fields; lakes used to raise ducks, communal houses, and many other beautiful places.
You will reach Thanh Toan Village after 30 biking minutes, we pay a visit for Thanh Toan Bridge. Thanh Toan Tile Bridge is a unique work in Vietnam and has experienced hundreds of years of Vietnamese history. In addition, there will be a museum called “Thanh Toan Farm Tools Gallery” to display the traditional agricultural tools of the Vietnamese people.
Thanh Toan Tile Bridge is sightseeing with a small campus, so it doesn’t take too long to complete the tour. After 15 minutes of sightseeing and taking pictures, you can now use fishing boats to travel on the Nhu Y river. They will use simple tools such as nets and fish traps to catch fish in the river and serve as your cooking lessons. In addition, if you want, they will teach you how to use those tools so that you can catch fish yourself.
After returning to the residents’ homes, you’ll be able to visit a vegetable garden that includes a variety of vegetables such as Malabar spinach, gourd, fiber melon, winter melon, Roxburgh fig, and many more. They will be one of the ingredients that you will use in your next cooking class.
The highlight part of today’s Hue Cooking Class Tour is learning to cook traditional Hue dishes. Here you will be taught by professional chefs who will teach you thoroughly. You will be taught many specialties of Hue, such as Hue pork bologna, fig salad with shrimp and meat, Banh Khot, braised scad, and many more. We will provide you with all the ingredients to cook the dish. The final step is to enjoy the food you have just cooked.
