Port update (October 2026): Nha Trang port has been closed for repairs since September 2024, and most large cruise ships now dock at Cam Ranh, about 60 km south. From Cam Ranh it's 60–75 minutes each way to Nha Trang, so this 4-hour tour becomes about 6 to 6.5 hours port to port. Some mid-size ships tender to a marina near the city instead. Tour Overview:
A half-day tour of some of the main old buildings and cultural sites of Nha Trang. You visit some of the best-known places in the area and learn about their history. You see temples, colonial-era buildings and a busy market, and the guide explains local customs.
Tour Description:
365Aplus travel will pick you up and the tour begins with a visit to the Alexandre Yersin Museum, dedicated to the Swiss-born French physician who made Nha Trang his home for nearly fifty years until his death in 1943. Here, you will discover his contributions to medicine and the local community, gaining insight into his remarkable life.
Next, we will explore Long Son Pagoda, founded in the 19th century. This Buddhist pagoda has a big 14-meter-high Buddha statue that stands proudly atop the hill. The statue can be seen from far away as you come into the city, and from up there you look out over Nha Trang and the countryside.
Next is Dam Market, the biggest and best-known market in Nha Trang. With its unique architecture, the market spans over 5,000 square meters and can accommodate up to 3,000 visitors. It is busy and noisy, a good place to see the local culture and shop for souvenirs.
Finally, we will visit the Cham Ponagar Temple Complex or Thap Ba. On a hill just outside the city, this old Cham temple site is still used for worship. You can walk around the towers and the grounds.
