Welcome up by our local guide and driver at the port who will be your partner in this whole shore excursion. It takes 1.5 driving hours get Hue from Chan May port and 2.5 driving hours from Tien Sa port.
The first stop is imperial City (The Citadel) - Explore the historical complex with its walls, gates, and the Forbidden Purple City. It is a historic and cultural complex that served as the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular tourist destination. The Imperial City is situated on the northern bank of the Perfume River and is surrounded by a large defensive wall.
The second top is Thien Mu Pagoda which is the iconic seven-story pagoda overlooking the Perfume River. Then, we continue to enjoy a boat ride on the Perfume River to get a different perspective of the city.
Have lunch at local restaurant in Hue city, the dishes are well handpicked by 365AplusTravel.
In the afternoon, we will visit one royal tomb (Depending on your interests, you might want to visit one of the royal tombs, such as the Tomb of Minh Mang or Tu Duc) before returning the port on time.
If the time is permitted, we have a short time at Dong Ba market.
